The Stalk
Oh boy, I don’t even know where to start on this one. This has been a labor of love and at the same time the sole source of my customizing frustration. I started her back in winter of 2015 as a little side project for myself. I figured I’d work on her in-between commissions and wrap her up within a year. Well needless to say that shit didn’t go as planned. For nearly 2 years she’s been sitting on my work bench, taunting me, watching me with judging eyes, and staring into my very soul! Ok, that’s a bit dramatic but I HAD to get her done.
As with anything I work on, the longer I stare at it the more likely I am to not like what I’ve done and want to change things. The Stalk was no exception. She started with the torso from a Marvel Legends Ms. Marvel figure which I attached to a LOTR Shelob body using the ankle joint from a Marvel Universe Goliath (check out the WIP pics below). From there nearly every bit of her was modified or scratch built.
Here’s a list of all the work that was done to create this sexy bounty huntress:
She features a whopping 93 points of articulation!!
I’m relieved she’s complete. Drop a comment or question below and thanks for looking!

Here’s a list of all the work that was done to create this sexy bounty huntress:
- Sculpted hair (three times) and headdress
- Sculpted extra eyes (twice) and reshaped the face slightly
- Re-sculpted chest (Ms. Marvel was a bit too curvey)
- Sculpted “belt” to hold her skirt in place
- Reshaped and reworked her entire spider abdomen then sculpted fur and undercarriage (twice)
- Reshaped every leg and reworked articulation to utilize revoltech joints
- Added hair to each leg for comic accuracy
- Cast 11 hands so she can hold a variety of weapons
- Skirt was made by a fellow hobbyist/seamstress which features high quality stitching, snaps, hooks, wire around the fringe for pose-ability, an elastic band and even two tiny pockets to stash a couple weapons.
- Repainted a full arsenal of weapons so she can get her murder on, in style!
She features a whopping 93 points of articulation!!
- Head ball joint
- Torso crunch/twist
- Waist pivot/twist
- Where her 8 legs attached to the abdomen she has 8 disc/swivel joints
- Her 16 “knees” and 8 wrists all feature revoltech joints with two swivel points and a pivot.
I’m relieved she’s complete. Drop a comment or question below and thanks for looking!
