Storm
90's era - Silver costume
This lovely lady was commissioned by the same person that requested Rogue. I didn’t want to completely copy the first Storm I made so I incorporated several small variations. Now both stand out as unique pieces!
Recipe is same as before but I used Dagger legs to help with painting. The hair is sculpted from scratch and it’s probably hard to tell but she has teeny tiny lightning bolt earrings nestled within her flowing locks. All details on her chest, shoulders and arms are sculpted. I went with a different style cape this time. I created small pegs using an extra set of hands and pegged the cape into her back so it actually rotates with her arms. It is also attached to her wrists via tiny little wire loops. The cape also has a wire inlaid throughout the border so it is fully poseable. And lastly, we all know how dis-proportioned the current MU female legs are, so I shorted them a few “inches” to balance her out. She was finished off with a Chrome Silver and Gold paint job with subtle clear blue lowlights.
