Marvel's DRACULA
Well, it’s been what feels like a decade since I finished a figure, but who better to “raise me from the dead” than the main bloodsucker himself, the Lord of the Vampires, Dracula!
The recipe is once again fairly simple:
Head: Omega Red
Body: Hercules
Legs: Ares
As with just about everything I create, my goal is to only use existing features when they fit perfectly with the figure. Well with ol’ Dracy here that ended up being his eyes, nose and toes. Nearly every millimeter of this sucker (pun intended) has been sculpted. The armor around his ab joint and his extremely manly (and articulated!) pony tail were sculpted in Procreate to keep them flexible and to not inhibit articulation. His cape is fully posable and removable just in case you want a more “out on the town” Dracula. But when he’s ready to murder some innocents and feast on the blood of heroes, well then slap on his cape and get to work! His sword is also sculpted completely from scratch and there’s a fancy shmancy tutorial here showing the step by step process on how I made it. So go read it now! I’ll wait…
Oh, you’re back? Good! Now check out more pics of Dracula below!
